Who doesn't like a cooking challenge? We have a re-occurring friendly food competition at work where the winner gets bragging rights and the chance to choose what the next challenge will be. These results prove I know my way around the kitchen.
2nd Place - The Alliteration Challenge
I drew the letter "F" out of the hat and presented my dish as follows with 20 F or F sounds. This finger food is a free-range egg, frittata on a flaky, phyllo foundation filled with fresh fennel, fungi, fava and five herbs. It is finished with flecks of funyons, fennel fronds and french fromage. They are fugly but flavorful little fuckers - the fawn agrees.

1st Place - Mystery Ingredient Challenge
For this challenge we entered ingredients into a hat and at random each drew an ingredient. I drew my own ingredient out of the list - essential oils. It was like a dream come true, because I knew exactly what I would make - raw blackberry and wild orange essential oil "cheesecakes". They were a hit!
"My taste buds won’t soon forget the pleasure of partaking
on magical green truffles and purple clouds."
